Petite histoire des Louboutin Pigalle
Knowing I’ve been wanting them forever, a friend of mine who lives in Paris decided to make me a surprise birthday gift. He told me he new nothing about fashion, but I didn’t worry. How difficult could it be to buy a pair of shoes? But when he showed me the pics he had found on a fraud website, I felt the need to step in and give him a hand :-))
I first went on the Louboutin website, where Pigalle was sold out. I searched and searched and was very happy to find them at Luisa Via Roma. Their website said a pair ought to have come in by October 31st. So I impatiently waited. Instead of the pack, an apology letter arrived, explaining Louboutin will not be delivering to them. We got a refund and I proceeded with a new search, managing to find a pair of Pigalle of my size at Barney’s New York. Naturally, with custom taxes and shipping expenses, they costed more.
At that point I suggested we called Louboutin in Paris to ask if they could find it. I’m a size 38, sometimes a 37, but luckily I checked out their size chart and saw that an Italian 38 is a French 39. So he asked for that and after a day of research they succeeded in finding one pair in…Madrid. Shipped with Fedex and delivered to my house in Rome in one day.
Was that an adventure or not? :-D
Thank you Phil for the loveliest birthday gift <3
Sportsy Friday
Oh I just love the sportsy stripes longuette. Today mixed with heels and pois socks.
A bit loud for my style, but once in a while it doesn’t hurt.
Shot by Serena Scionti.

Simple
I like to keep it simple as I know that less is more. Levi’s shorts * white Tshirt
Thank you Serena Scionti for the shot.
Stella Jean
These are some shots I took last summer of Stella Jean’s collection shown at Alta Roma Alta Moda. I simply love the mix of different cultural elements in the looks she creates. Really inspirational. Keep it going Stella!
PS: I love taking catwalk shots:-*
November in Rome
After a freezing week, the weather decided to show some mercy and temperature got back to 20C degrees. Which opens the possibility to something I’m really fond of, namely cross dressing.

Snow White or the wicked witch?
The answer is “a mix of both”. I’m usually into more minimalist stuff, but I simply couldn’t resist the charm of this Angelo vintage dress. Worn with Zara heels, vintage purse and vintage scarf. The apple is an optional :-)
Poppy field
I love poppy fields. On my way to the seaside I just couldn’t resist stopping and taking some Fuji instant pics. And then I lost my glasses (and found them), the pics (found them), got sunburn and had the Harley’s battery die. Nothing like an adventurous day in the sun.
jeans zara * vintage lace bustier * cyberg tee * vintage glasses * tailor made scarf
The striped skirt
I just realized I love the silhouette created by a high waist longuette and a long sleeved bolero or a t-shirt which leaves some skin to view between the belly and the chest. Sorry for the unpoetic location. And no, the belly wasn’t supposed to show.
This being said, I can only conclude that I need to get myself a boyfriend who will follow me around, taking pics of my looks (in proper locations and with lots of test shots).Cheers :-*
